Sales Data for Material
What Is the SAP MVKE Table?
SAP MVKE Table stores sales-specific material master data in SAP. The Material sales data is maintained with a combination of material number, sales organization and distribution channel.
In SAP SD, a material can have different sales settings depending on the sales organization and distribution channel. Each combination can have its own sales settings such as sales unit, delivery unit, delivery plant, material pricing group and item category group. These settings helps determine the relevant material sales data during sales document processing.
Example:
When a sales order is created, SAP use the relevant material sales data maintained in MVKE to determine sales related information according to the configured business process.
Material Master Information is stored in several tables, including
- MARA: General material data
- MAKT: Material descriptions
- MVKE: Material sales data
- MARC: Plant specific material data
- MARM: Unit of measure for material
SAP consultants, users and support team use MVKE table to review sales settings assigned to material master and troubleshoot issues involving sales units, delivery plants, and item category determination.
