What Is the SAP T683S Table?
SAP Table T683S used to store pricing procedure steps and condition types assignments in SAP. It contains the detailed configuration information about the individual steps maintained in the pricing procedure.
In Sales and Distribution (SD), a pricing procedure is defines the sequences in which pricing conditions such as base price, discounts, surcharges, freight charges and tax that are processed during sales transactions.
The T683S table contains the important information such as Pricing Procedure Key, Step number, Condition type, Requirements, Subtotal, Calculation Formula, and Account key.
Each Pricing procedure is identified by a Pricing Procedure Key(KALSM) which links to pricing procedure definition maintained in T683 and its individual steps in T683S.
When a sales order is created, the relevant pricing procedure is determined based on the configured pricing procedure determination settings. SAP then processes relevant condition types in the sequences maintained in T683S to calculate prices, discounts, surcharges, freight charges, and taxes.
